License Overview

The License page shows which plan your workspace is on, whether the license is currently valid, and when it expires. Combined with the usage indicator in the dashboard header, it helps you see how close you are to your plan limits before backups start failing on quota.

Accessing the License Page

Navigate to License in the sidebar.

License Details

The card at the top of the page displays:

  • Plan: The name of your current plan (e.g. Freemium).
  • Status: A colored badge showing the current license state (see the table below), with a short description of what it means.
  • License ID: Your license key or license identifier. You may need this when contacting support.
  • Valid Until: The date your license is valid until, with the number of days remaining.
  • Manage Billing: A shortcut to the Billing & Plans page where you can upgrade or renew your plan.

Plan Limits

Each plan defines quantifiable limits. The ones you will encounter most often are:

LimitDescription
RepositoriesThe maximum number of repositories that can be included in backups.
StorageThe total backup storage available to your workspace. The Freemium plan includes 250 MiB.
Audit log retentionHow many days audit log records are shown.

:::info Only included repositories count Only repositories toggled as Included consume your repository quota. Repositories switched to Excluded on the Repository Detail page do not count against the limit, but they are also excluded from all backups. :::

Usage Indicator

The header of every dashboard page shows a compact usage indicator: your plan name next to a colored dot that reflects your highest quota usage.

Dot colorUsage
GreenBelow 70%
Yellow70% – 89%
Orange90% – 99%
Red100% or more

Click the indicator to open the Usage Overview dialog, which shows:

  • Repositories: Live repository count versus your plan limit, with a progress bar.
  • Storage: Storage used versus your plan limit, with a progress bar and the remaining amount.
  • Any additional plan limits, each with its own progress bar.
  • A Refresh Data button to reload the latest usage figures.

When your highest usage reaches 90%, the dialog shows a Critical Usage Limit warning; at 100% it shows Access Restricted, meaning account limits are exceeded and operations are blocked until you upgrade. Use the Upgrade Plan button in the dialog to move to a higher plan.

warning

When a quota reaches 100%, new backups can no longer run. Keep an eye on the usage indicator and upgrade before you hit the limit.

License History

The License History section at the bottom of the License page lists past license events in a paginated table with Event, Actor, Timestamp, and Details columns, useful for tracing when your plan changed and who triggered the change.
